National Film Development Corporation of India, a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is the central agency established to encourage the good cinema movement in the country. The primary goal of the NFDC is to plan, promote and organize an integrated and efficient development of the Indian film industry and foster excellence in cinema. Over the years NFDC has provided a wide range of services essential to the growth of Indian cinema. The NFDC (and its predecessor the Film Finance Corporation) has so far funded / produced over 300 films. These films, in various Indian languages, have been widely acclaimed and have won many national and international awards. The corporation invites application for the post of Senior Programmer – Knowledge Series with the following job details.

Role Responsibilities:

Work Experience in designing Film based workshops and panels





Responsible for and overall in-charge of the knowledge Series at Film

Bazaar, which includes finalisation of the panels/in conversation/talks etc.

Guest Coordination and itinerary management with the guest relation

team in terms of guests participating at each session of Knowledge series

Research and compilation of Catalogue and editorial for Knowledge Series

Research on recent and latest trends on cinema around the world for

incorporating new sessions at Knowledge Series

Educational Qualification:
Graduate in Mass Communication/Film Studies/ Humanities

Experience: 8 years

Remuneration:- Consolidated pay of Rs. 70,000/- per month.
