Role & responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in managing day-to-day store operations.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the store team to achieve sales and operational goals.
- Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer concerns.
- Monitor daily sales performance and work towards achieving monthly targets.
- Train, coach, and mentor store employees on product knowledge, customer service, and SOPs.
- Prepare staff duty rosters and manage shift schedules.




- Ensure proper visual merchandising and attractive product displays.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and minimize stock shortages.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and support stock audits.
- Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, and daily cash reconciliation.
- Monitor product quality, expiry dates, and adherence to FIFO/FEFO practices (where applicable).
- Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene, safety, and operational standards.
- Handle escalated customer complaints professionally.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of store employees.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
- Coordinate with warehouse and other departments to ensure smooth store operations.

Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Retail, FMCG, Supermarket, Bakery, QSR, or Food
