We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer / Data Engineer with SAP data experience to join our delivery team supporting data integration and reporting initiatives for global clients.

Position Overview

This role supports a data integration and reporting project involving SAP S/4HANA data extraction, JSON ingestion, Snowflake transformation, performance optimization, and Power BI reporting. The resource will work closely with the Solution Architect to validate, enhance, optimize, and productionize the Snowflake data layer.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Data Ingestion & Integration
- Support ingestion of SAP S/4HANA data into Snowflake, including historical conversion loads and ongoing delta loads.
- Work with OData API-based JSON data ingestion into Snowflake.
- Transform semi-structured JSON data into structured, report-ready tables and views.




- Support flattened hierarchy reporting requirements for SAP master data and organizational structures.

Snowflake Development & Optimization
- Develop and optimize Snowflake objects for master data, transaction data, and reporting consumption.
- Optimize Snowflake performance for large-volume fact data (e.g., hundreds of millions of records).
- Evaluate and recommend optimal Snowflake performance patterns such as energetic tables, materialized views, clustering, and persisted reporting tables.
- Prepare Snowflake data structures for Power BI consumption.
- Assist with data validation, reconciliation, performance testing, and technical documentation.

Reporting & Validation
- Support flattened hierarchy reporting requirements for SAP data structures including cost centers, profit centers, and GL hierarchies.
- Validate data accuracy and completeness across historical and delta load cycles in collaboration with functional teams.
