Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical CAD Engineer with experience in High-Voltage Equipment design. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Creo, Windchill, and 3D mechanical design, along with exposure to high-voltage equipment or switchgear products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components for high-voltage equipment.
- Create 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings using Creo.
- Manage engineering data and documentation using Windchill.
- Apply GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles in mechanical designs.
- Coordinate with electrical, manufacturing, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Ensure designs meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Support product development, design reviews, and engineering documentation.
Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of mechanical design principles and GD&T.;
- Expert-level working knowledge of Creo and Windchill.
- Experience in 3D modelling and detailed drawing preparation.
- Basic knowledge of SAP MM.
- Exposure to High-Voltage Equipment or Switchgear Products.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Well-organised, flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritising work effectively.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
- Experience in high-voltage equipment or switchgear industry is preferred.
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
