About Business Line/Function

Front & Middle Applications Domain manages development and applicative maintenance services and contributes to maintaining, evolving, and migrating applications towards cloud-based platforms, ensuring scalability, resilience, and alignment with the Group’s transformation and digital strategy.

Position Purpose

As a Java Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain backend applications while contributing to cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

You will be involved in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), working in Agile teams, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions aligned with business needs.

You will also leverage up-to-date development practices, including AI-assisted tools, to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency, in compliance with BNP Paribas standards.

Contribute to all Agile phases: design,



development, testing, and release
Ensure code quality through code review, testing, and documentation
Support production issues and incident resolution
Implement and expose REST APIs and microservices
Contribute to cloud migration and modernization initiatives

Collaborate with international teams (e.g., Germany partners)
Share knowledge and best practices within the team
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
Use AI-assisted tools to support development and testing activities
Ensure compliance with security and development standards

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Minimum 5yearsexperiencein Java development, including JEE projects and cloud migration/development
Solid experience in backend development (Java SE, Java EE, Spring ecosystem)
Experience with REST APIs and microservices architectures
Strong understanding of persistence
