The General Manager - Procurement role leads strategic sourcing and supplier management for seat belts and automotive safety components. Located in Neemrana, Rajasthan, the position drives cost reduction, localisation, value engineering, and supplier readiness while leading the purchase team and coordinating with the head office in Japan.

Responsibilities
- Develop sourcing and procurement strategies for seat belts and safety components
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers
- Manage supplier performance across quality, cost, and delivery
- Drive cost reduction, localisation, and value engineering initiatives
- Ensure compliance with International Automotive Task Force (IATF) 16949, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and customer requirements




- Support recent product development and supplier readiness
- Lead and mentor the purchase team
- Coordinate with all departments and the head office in Japan

Requirements
- Expertise in supplier development and strategic sourcing
- Strong commercial negotiation capabilities
- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including SAP or Oracle
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, and customer requirements
