About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented US Tax Manager Individual Tax to lead the preparation, review, and management of US individual tax engagements. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in US individual taxation, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage client relationships while ensuring compliance with IRS regulations and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and review of US Individual Income Tax Returns (Forms 1040 and related schedules).
- Review complex individual tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with IRS regulations.
- Research US federal and state tax laws and provide appropriate tax solutions.
- Handle tax planning, compliance, and advisory services for individual clients.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and recommend effective tax strategies.
- Manage multiple tax engagements while ensuring timely completion within deadlines.




- Coordinate with clients to obtain required financial and tax-related documents.
- Respond to IRS notices and assist in resolving tax-related issues.
- Guide and mentor junior tax associates and review their work.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
- Keep updated with changes in US tax laws and ensure implementation within the team.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve tax processes and service delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in US Individual Taxation.
- Strong knowledge of US Individual Tax Returns (Form 1040), Schedule A, B, C, D, E, and related forms.
- Excellent understanding of US Federal and State tax regulations.
- Experience with tax planning, tax research, and IRS compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in US tax software such as CCH
