We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Soft Collection Agent to assist with recovering outstanding payments from customers. The role involves contacting customers through telephone calls, negotiating repayment plans, and ensuring timely debt recovery while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers via telephone to follow up on overdue payments.
- Negotiate suitable repayment plans based on customers' financial situations.
- Collaborate with the Accounts and Legal teams to support debt collection activities.
- Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies to maximize recoveries.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment commitments, and account status.
- Search publicly available databases and internal systems to locate customers when necessary.
- Monitor payment arrangements and follow up to ensure timely repayments.
- Prevent recurring payment delinquency by educating customers and encouraging consistent payment behavior.
- Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
- Meet assigned collection targets while maintaining high-quality customer service.

- Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of MS Office.

Qualifications
- Graduate or Undergraduate (as per company requirements).
- Prior experience in Soft Collections, Customer Service, Telecalling, Recovery, or BPO is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered.
