Strategy Development & Execution
- Design, code, and backtest algorithmic and rule-based trading strategies (momentum, mean-reversion, breakout, statistical arbitrage, options spreads, delta-neutral structures) using historicaltick and OHLC data.
- Translate technical analysis setups — price action, market structure, chart patterns, trendlines, support/resistance, moving averages, RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, volume profile, Fibonacci, and multi-timeframe analysis — into codified, testable trading rules and discretionary overlays.
- Deploy approved strategies through exchange-approved algorithmic frameworks and the firm & OMS/execution stack; monitor live performance, slippage, latency, fill quality, and intraday risk limits during market hours.
- Maintain strategy performance dashboards covering P&L; attribution, drawdown, Sharpe/Sortino, hit

ratio, and execution-cost analysis.

Technology & Execution
- Work with the front-office/OMS setting and exchange-provided APIs/CTCL for order routing and automation.
- Code and maintain strategies in Python (pandas, NumPy,



backtesting frameworks); proficiency in TradingView Pine Script and/or Amibroker AFL for charting and prototyping.
- Coordinate with the technology team on market data feeds (including tick-by-tick / MTBT data), server infrastructure, latency optimisation, and strategy deployment.

Compliance & Risk
- Ensure all algorithms comply with the SEBI algorithmic trading framework and NSE/BSE algo approval, audit, and tagging requirements — strategy registration, kill-switch protocols, and order-per-second limits.
- Maintain complete strategy documentation, audit trails, and logs for exchange inspection and internal compliance review.
- Operate strictly within board-approved risk limits, margin frameworks, and RMS controls; escalate anomalies immediately.

Research & Collaboration
- Monitor market microstructure, volatility regimes, and event calendars to adapt strategy

deployment.
