Role Description
The UV inkjet ink formulation chemist role is a full-time, on-site position located in Surat. The chemist will design, develop, and optimize UV inkjet ink formulations to meet performance, stability, and safety requirements. Daily responsibilities include planning and conducting laboratory experiments, evaluating raw materials, testing ink properties, and documenting results. The role also involves collaborating with production and quality teams to scale formulations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure consistent product quality.



The chemist will participate in ongoing research and development initiatives to improve existing products and support new application requirements.

Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation, problem-solving, and performance evaluation of ink formulations.
- Hands-on laboratory skills, including protected handling of chemicals, use of analytical instruments, and preparation of test samples.
- Experience in quality control, including establishing test protocols, monitoring product consistency, and complying with relevant standards.
- Background in research and development (R&D;) with a focus on formulation, particularly UV or inkjet ink systems.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of UV-curable systems, polymers, pigments, and additives used in inkjet formulations is highly beneficial.
