Job Title: Senior Purchase Executive

Reports To: Purchase Manager / Procurement Head
Job Summary
The Senior Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of materials, equipment, and services required by the organization. The role involves vendor management, price negotiation, purchase order processing, inventory coordination, and ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate favorable terms.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials to support production and operational requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify recent sourcing opportunities.
- Coordinate with production, stores, quality,



and finance departments to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Track purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Resolve issues related to shortages, quality concerns, and delayed deliveries.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
- Analyze purchasing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and procurement procedures.
- Prepare procurement reports, MIS, and vendor performance evaluations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Additional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
