We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Specialist with deep knowledge of natural stones, especially marble and granite, to manage end-to-end sourcing, vendor management, and cost control for stone procurement. The ideal candidate should have robust industry connections, negotiation skills, and technical understanding of quality grading, logistics, and import/export documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Procurement:
Identify and engage with local and international suppliers of marble, granite, and other natural stones.
Evaluate material quality, finishes, slab sizing, and suitability as per project requirements.
Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms with vendors to ensure optimal cost and value.
Vendor Management:
Build and maintain a strong network of quarries, distributors, and fabricators.
Conduct vendor assessments and audits for quality, compliance, and reliability.
Maintain supplier performance records and initiate corrective action when needed.
Inventory & Logistics:




Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites or warehouses.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast procurement needs based on project timelines.
Ensure proper documentation for import/export, customs clearance, and transportation.
Cost & Quality Control:
Conduct market analysis to stay updated on pricing trends and material availability.
Work with project managers, architects, and designers to ensure selected stones meet quality and design specifications.
Minimize wastage through optimized procurement planning and slab yield calculations.
Cross-functional Coordination:
Liaise with the design, construction, and commercial teams to align procurement with project schedules.
Ensure procurement aligns with budgetary guidelines and project specifications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Certification in procurement/supply chain
