A Vertical Head (Broking)is primarily responsible for managing relationships specifically for brokers for a branch.
Scope of work:
- Drive and achieve monthly topline targets through brokers.
- Ensure diversification of portfolio into motor, non-motor, health products for the location they are managing
- Achieving business goals and revenue targets.
- Drive recruitment of brokers/agents through team members as per targets set
- Coordinate with team to ensure month on month activation of brokers and agents as per targets set
- Manage individual targets for broker on boarding, activation and premium if any
- Responsible for achieving overall GWP (Gross Written Premium)
- Responsible for sustainable profitability
- Responsible to maintain COR at budgeted levels
- Combined Ratio- Minimizing Loss & Cost of Acquisition
- Ensuring IRDAI compliance regarding licensing & commission payments to Agents.
- Handling a team of relationships managers.
- Train team on products, process and USPs of Company
- Identify the area of improvement & enhancing business prospect
- Responsible for explorations & identification of new business avenues by way of business leads & networking.
- Resolve the discrepancies raised by the Underwriter and issue policies at branch level.
- Analysing and resolving the rejections of policy related issues
Professional Experience: 7+ years; GI in Broking
Technology Known: Basic Excel
