Job Brief
We are looking for a rigorous, experienced Senior Accountant with a CA Inter or CMA Inter qualification to lead our internal control and audit functions. In this role, you will go beyond routine book-keeping to design, execute, and oversee robust audit programs across our manufacturing plants, warehouses, and distribution channels.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in auditing material yields, operational efficiencies, and supply chain logistics, ensuring absolute financial integrity and zero leakage in our operations.
Enhanced Audit & Control Responsibilities
1. Internal & Operational Auditing
- Process Audits: Design and implement internal audit checklists for procurement, manufacturing, and warehouse operations to identify structural vulnerabilities or process gaps.
- Yield & Variance Audits:
Conduct regular audits on cosmetic formulations, comparing physical batch inputs (raw chemicals, fragrances, active ingredients) against standard Bill of Materials (BOM) to investigate material losses or unauthorized waste.
- Fixed Asset & Capex Audits: Maintain and physically verify the Fixed Asset Register across plants. Audit capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects against authorized budgets.
2. Commercial & Supply Chain Controls
- Stock & Inventory Auditing: Lead cycle counting audits and periodic physical stock verifications at factories and multi-location warehouses. Audit aging inventory to flag near-expiry cosmetics or slow-moving items.
- Vendor & Payables Audit: Review high-value vendor contracts, freight charges, and procurement logs to ensure strict adherence to company authorization matrices and competitive pricing guidelines.
