Sr. Engineer Product Engineering (Automation).

Please note the key points:-
- Hands on experience in automation like robots and gantry.
- Layout preparation / DAP preparation of automation line
- Vendor selection and review of BOP parts like PLC, HMI, Robots, CNC integration, sensors, drives, etc.,)
- Analysis study on through put time of line & cycle time of each process, motion study.
- 4+ years of experience with max CTC of 8 LPA.
- We expect candidates notice period not more than 30 days.
- Transportation availability to Tambaram and Thiruvallur routes.
- Any manufacturing industry with the working knowledge of above activities.
- Please provide priority to Electrical & Mechatronics background candidates.

Role Purpose

The Automation Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and continuously improving automation solutions across plant machinery and utilities. The role ensures protected, compliant, reliable, and cost-effective operation of automation systems while supporting productivity,



quality, energy efficiency, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities 1. Automation Planning & Implementation
- Coordinate and execute automation projects across plant machinery, utilities, and production lines.
- Identify automation opportunities based on application requirements, cycle time, quality, safety, and cost.
- Select appropriate automation technologies (PLC, HMI, Robots, CNC integration, sensors, drives, etc.).
- Support integration of automation with existing machines and systems.
- Ensure successful installation, commissioning, and handover of automation projects.

2. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with automation vendors, system integrators, and service engineers during project execution.
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions post-installation.
- Evaluate vendor proposals, technical offers, and solutions in line
