Role & Responsibilities
• Design PCBAs using Cadence Allegro and Altium from schematic to Gerber generation
• Perform layer stack-up, DFA, DFM, and DFT analysis
• Modify PCBAs based on customer specifications and Schlumberger standards
• Create and maintain electrical drawings such as wiring harnesses and connectors using AutoCAD
• Prepare and update BOMs in the Client Product File Database
• Interpret component datasheets for circuit design
• Learn and comply with Schlumberger-specific PCB design and library standards
• Maintain internal checklists based on continuous customer feedback
• Coordinate with team members and provide timely updates to team leads
Education
• Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution
Work Experience




• 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar PCB design role
Skills and Qualifications Required
• Proficient in PCB design for multilayer boards
• Strong knowledge of Cadence Allegro
• Positive foundation in electrical/electronics concepts
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
• Effective oral and written communication in English
Desired (Optional)
• Familiarity with IPC standards
• Understanding of EMI/EMC and signal integrity in analog and digital boards
• Ability to interpret schematic flow and basic circuit functionality
• Working knowledge of Altium, Mentor Graphics, AutoCAD
• Experience with ProE is an advantage
