What You Will Do:

* Diagnose defects in heavy duty trucks and trailers and perform required
mechanical services

* Diagnose defects in electrical and lighting systems, brakes, brake drums,
hubs, seals, and bearings





* Repair/Replace components for hydraulics, air systems, axles, trailer panels,
suspensions, bumpers

* Perform CVIP inspections/Safety Inspections

* Perform incidental welding operations on steel and/or aluminum trailers

* Ensure documentation is complete and accurate

* Other duties as assigned

What We Require:

* The ideal candidate is a registered level 2 apprentice or higher skillset.
All levels of mechanic are encouraged to apply

* Demonstrated understanding of highway truck and automotive wiring

* CVIP/Safety certificate for trucks and trailers preferred but not required

* Previous welding experience is preferred but not required

* Previous experience installing plows, sanders or dump boxes is preferred but
not required

* Must be able to meet the physical requirements: Lift up to 75lbs, able to
work while kneeling/squatting and crouching, work at varying heights and
enclosed areas
