Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Research Scientist with hands-on experience in Rapid Generation Advancement (RGA) and Speed Breeding technologies. The ideal candidate will contribute to accelerating breeding programs through the effective management of controlled-environment facilities and implementation of advanced crop improvement techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute Rapid Generation Advancement (RGA) and Speed Breeding protocols for vegetable field crops.
- Operate and maintain controlled-environment growth facilities, including growth chambers, greenhouses, and speed breeding units.
- Monitor environmental parameters such as light intensity, photoperiod,temperature, humidity, and irrigation to ensure optimal plant growth.
- Conduct plant physiological observations and record growth, flowering,maturity, and seed production data.
- Support breeding programs by coordinating crossing activities, seed harvesting, seed processing, and generation advancement.
- Analyze experimental data and prepare technical reports.




- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), biosafety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with breeders research scientists to achievebreeding objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of experiments and breeding records.

Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Rapid Generation Advancement (RGA) technology.
- Practical knowledge of Speed Breeding facilities and controlled-environment crop production.
- Understanding of plant growth, physiology, flowering behavior, and breeding techniques.
- Experience in greenhouse and growth chamber management.
- Robust observational, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional research teams.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Candidate must possess a Masters or Doctoral degree in Plant Physiology or Horticulture (Vegetable Science). Candidate must be comfortable for relocation to Gomchi
