Job Description: Area Sales Manager (End Customer/OEM Sales)

Experience: 5+ years (Industrial bearings or mechanical components preferred)

Role Overview
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving direct sales to end customers and OEMs, expanding market share, managing key industrial accounts, and promoting the complete range of Pacific Bearings products. This role will focus on direct engagement with manufacturing units, machinery builders, and large industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities
1. Direct Sales to OEMs & End Customers
Drive direct sales to OEMs, machine builders, and industrial end users.
Generate new leads by targeting relevant industries: steel, cement, mining, machine tools, power plants, textiles, sugar, packaging machinery, etc.
Conduct plant visits, product presentations, and technical discussions with engineering and purchase teams.

2. Key Account Management




Manage existing OEM and industrial accounts to increase share of business.
Develop long-term supply agreements with key accounts.
Ensure regular follow-up on enquiries, quotes, and approvals.
Track customer production schedules and forecast demand for bearings.

3. Technical Sales & Application Guidance
Understand customer applications.
Work with internal technical/application engineers to support customer performance evaluations.

4. New Business Development
Identify potential customers where Pacific Bearings can replace competitor products.
Plan region-wise business development activities with a robust focus on new installations and new machine development.

5. Sales Reporting & Forecasting
Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain updated records of enquiries, trials, sales pipeline, and closures.
Submit daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
