Job Title: Packer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer to prepare products for shipment. The ideal candidate will ensure orders are packed accurately, labeled correctly, and meet company quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack products according to company procedures and customer requirements.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packaging.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Ensure orders are complete and correctly packed.
- Use packing materials to protect products during transportation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work area.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks, when required.
- Report damaged products, shortages, or packaging issues to supervisors.
- Follow all workplace health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous warehouse or packing experience is an advantage but not always required.
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs (depending on the employer).
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and communication skills.
