Job Summary
The Sewing Trainee is responsible for learning and assisting in garment sewing operations under the guidance of experienced operators and supervisors. The trainee will develop skills in operating sewing machines, understanding garment construction, maintaining quality standards, and achieving production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and operate industrial sewing machines and equipment safely.
- Assist in stitching garment components according to specifications and quality standards.
- Follow work instructions, sewing methods, and production procedures.
- Inspect sewn parts for defects and report quality issues to supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
- Handle materials, threads, and garment pieces carefully to avoid damage.
- Support production teams in meeting daily output targets.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures.




- Participate in training sessions and skill development programs.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Basic understanding of sewing or tailoring is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and develop sewing skills.
- Positive hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically able to sit and work for extended periods.
