Job Purpose
To learn and perform basic sewing operations while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards under the guidance of supervisors and trainers.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn sewing machine operations and garment construction techniques.
- Stitch assigned garment operations as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Maintain the required quality standards and minimize defects.
- Achieve daily productivity targets during the training period.
- Handle sewing machines and tools carefully.
- Follow instructions from the Trainer, Supervisor, and Team Leader.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow 5S practices at the workstation.
- Follow safety rules and wear the required PPE.
- Report machine issues or quality defects immediately.
- Attend all training sessions and continuously improve sewing skills.

Qualification




- 8th Pass / 10th Pass / 12th Pass (Preferred)
- Freshers are welcome.

Experience
- Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in garment manufacturing.

Skills Required
- Willingness to learn.
- Basic hand-eye coordination.
- Valuable communication and teamwork.
- Positive attitude and discipline.
- Ability to work in shifts if required.

- Training completion within the specified period.
- Productivity achievement as per training targets.
- First Pass Quality (FPY).
- Attendance and punctuality.
- Adherence to safety and 5S standards.
- Reduction in stitching defects and rework.
