Role Overview
The GGRE Application Support & Dev Analyst provides L1/L2/L3 technical support, installation, configuration, and maintenance for GGRE petro-technical applications including Petrel, RocDoc, PetroMod, Techlog, and Landmark. The role also handles VDI/cluster management and contributes to minor enhancement development within the GGRE POD.
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, configuration, and operational support for GGRE applications (Petrel/Studio, RocDoc, PetroMod, Techlog, Landmark)
Monitor application health and respond to L1–L3 incidents perform root cause analysis for production issues
Manage application upgrades, security patches, and vulnerability remediation
Support VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) and workstation cluster management for HPC-attached GGRE users
Administer software license monitoring (FlexLM) report and escalate license shortfalls
Conduct user training support and onboarding for new GGRE platform users
Develop and maintain minor enhancements using C#.Net (Blazor) for Reserves (RDM) and Perl scripts
Support IICS-based data integrations within the GGRE scope (not full DSIS)
Perform change management activities per COP standards maintain technical documentation
Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies manage JIRA backlogs for assigned application areas
