Robotics Engineer & Mentor
Robotics Lab & Makers Space
SASTech, Rishihood University
ISRO Tracked Research • Defense Aligned Systems • Robocon
Why This Role Matters
SASTech, the Sajjan Agarwal School of Technology, is Rishihood University’s deep tech school, built on a ₹100 crore endowment, India’s first of its kind, with a mandate to build the country’s technological sovereignty in AI, robotics, and other critical systems. Rishihood’s broader mission is nation building through education, producing builders and ethical leaders, not just degree holders.
The Robotics Lab & Makers Space is where that mission gets tested against reality, not a demo lab. Students from the Robotics Club and the Robotics Minor build real hardware here, some tracked by ISRO, some defense aligned, with a growing push toward Robocon. This role leads that lab:
setting the technical bar and building the culture that keeps students here past class hours.
About the Role
We are looking for a full time Robotics Engineer & Mentor to run the Robotics Lab & Makers Space as a core team member. This is not a classroom only role. You will work directly with students across the Robotics Club and the Robotics Minor, reviewing their designs and code, debugging hardware and software, and taking projects from concept to working prototype, including research tracked by ISRO, defense aligned systems, and competition ready builds for Robocon.
You will carry both the technical depth of a senior
