We are looking for a UI Artist / 2D Game Artist based in North East India to join our team for an upcoming unannounced game title.
You will be working with an experienced game development team that has previously developed and released a 20+ hour Metroidvania. This is a production-focused role with clear visual guidance, defined deliverables, structured schedules, and tight deadlines.

The primary focus of the role will be to create 2D icons and UI art assets for the game based on guidance and references provided by the development team.

What You'll Be Working On
You will be responsible for creating clear, visually consistent, and game-ready 2D assets for the game's user interface.
The role will involve:
Creating 2D icons based on visual direction, references, and requirements provided by the team.
Creating icons for items, resources, tools, abilities, upgrades,



and other gameplay systems.
Developing UI art assets that follow the established visual language of the game.
Iterating on artwork based on feedback from the art and design teams.
Preparing and exporting assets according to defined technical specifications.
Maintaining consistency across large sets of icons and UI assets.
Integrating or assisting with the integration of UI assets into the game engine.
Working against a transparent production schedule with defined deliverables and expectations.
Depending on your skills and ability to consistently complete your primary responsibilities, there may also be opportunities to contribute to broader UI design, visual development, and other 2D art requirements for the project.
