Production Engineer Multi/-Line Operations & Shift Ops Job Description Duties/: Line Balancing & Daily Target Execution/: To efficiently meet daily production volume quotas, plan and carry out production line layouts, dynamically assigning labor and distributing duties across stations. Cycle Time Optimization and Bottleneck Removal/: To identify cycle time deviations, conduct time/-and/-motion studies along the line. Then, modify assembly steps or fixtures to remove processing delays. Changeover Minimization/: To significantly reduce line downtime between product changeover, standardize tool change and machine setup procedures and use Single/-Minute Exchange of Die techniques. Floor Process & Work Instruction Documentation/: To maintain consistent assembly techniques throughout shifts, create, update, and implement comprehensive SOPs and visual work instructions at stations. Lean Manufacturing & Waste Elimination/: To reduce floor waste, cut down on material handling procedures, and shorten production lead times,



lead regional Kaizen events and implement 5S techniques. Focus Skills/: Manufacturing Routing & Process Planning/: Excellent technical understanding of machine allocation concepts, line balancing strategies, and workflow design. Lean Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Tools/: Time/-study techniques, 5S workplace configuration, line layout optimization, and waste minimization tools. Mechanical and Assembly Drawing Interpretation/: Excellent ability to read assembly drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and technical engineering blueprints to direct line setups.
