Responsibilities
Prepare technical specification for E&A; in Flat Product Business Unit in Danieli India Ltd (DIL)
Make technical selection and optimization of high value items (with vendor support, or with Engineering office support if needed)
Attend technical discussions (if needed along with Danieli Automation colleagues) along with BU (Mechanical) or independently, interact with customer and convince him about the Danieli EA solution
Update information in Sales tools (D-Next or Equivalent)
Provide back-end support to estimation department by sharing concept level engineering as per project need in case to case basis




Customer visits for sales leads / identifying opportunities - especially in Revamp / Upgrade projects and Digital solutions
Site Survey to gather information on complex projects (revamps, modernization etc)
Provide support to the mechanical BU on technological issues
Presentation at seminars / or with customers, as and when needed
Interact with Application Team (software development solution department) if needed for better understanding of Danieli Solutions to different Product lines ( PPPL, HDGL, CRM, HSM, Steckel Mill, Plate Mill etc)
Technical Requirements
Process Knowhow / Technological Competence - Knowhow in Rolling Mills (Cold and Hot) and Processing Lines
Selection & Optimization of drives and motors (Auxiliary and Gear Motors)-Ability to make an optimum selection
Basic idea of MV Drive solutions for Rolling Mill Applications
Ll and L2 Automation System knowledge (Automation Block Diagram, Network diagr
