Key Responsibilities
* People Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage the performance of a team of
software engineers. Conduct 1-on-1s, set career development goals, and foster
a healthy, inclusive culture.
* Project Delivery: Own the software development life cycle (SDLC) from
conception through architecture, testing, and deployment. Manage backlogs,
prioritize features, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within
budget
* Technical Strategy: Guide system design, code quality, and technical vision.
Ensure adoption of best practices like Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps
* Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as the liaison between your technical
team, product managers, upper management, and external stakeholders
Essential Requirements
* Education & Experience: Typically a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer
Science or a related field, combined with 10+ years of overall software
engineering experience.
* Leadership Track: 3–5+ years in a formal engineering management or technical
lead role, showcasing a track record of scaling high-performing teams.
* Technical Chops: Hands-on background in contemporary programming languages (e.g.,
Java, Python, C++), distributed systems architecture, and cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and strategic
problem-solving abilities.
