Key Responsibilities
Design & Product Development
• Develop seasonal apparel collections based on market trends, buyer briefs, and business
requirements.
• Create mood boards, color palettes, fabric stories, and design concepts.
• Prepare sketches, technical drawings, CADs, and design presentations.
Develop product ranges across categories such as:
• Women's Wear
• Men's Wear
• Kids Wear
• Loungewear
• Casual Wear
• Fashion Basics
Trend Research & Forecasting
• Monitor global fashion trends, consumer preferences, fabrics, colors, prints, and silhouettes.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis.
• Translate trend insights into commercially viable collections.
Sampling & Product Execution

• Coordinate with pattern masters and sample development teams.
• Review fit samples and provide corrections.
• Ensure designs are production-friendly while maintaining aesthetic appeal.




• Monitor sample timelines and approvals.
Fabric & Trim Development
• Work closely with sourcing teams for fabric and trim selection.
• Evaluate fabric performance, quality, and cost implications.
• Develop creative fabric, print, embroidery, and embellishment concepts.
Buyer & Cross-Functional Coordination
• Participate in buyer meetings and design presentations.
• Understand buyer requirements and convert them into product concepts.
• Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, quality, and production teams for seamless
execution.
Documentation & MIS
• Maintain design libraries, tech packs, artwork files, and seasonal records.
• Prepare style specifications and product development documentation.
• Ensure timely updates of design trackers and sample status reports.
Design Leadership & Collection Development
• Lead the end-to-end design and development of seasonal and customer-specific apparel
collections.
