At Shemford Futuristic School, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor who can create compelling visual stories for digital platforms and educational content.
? Role Overview
You will be responsible for producing high-quality video content for social media, marketing, and academic use, ensuring strong storytelling, smooth editing, and visually engaging outputs.
? Key Responsibilities
Edit and produce short-form and long-form videos for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and other digital channels
Work extensively with Adobe After Effects (MUST HAVE) for motion graphics and animations
Use Adobe Premiere Pro (MUST HAVE)



for professional video editing and sequencing
Create engaging thumbnails and basic graphic elements for videos
Add transitions, effects, captions, and sound design to enhance video quality
Collaborate with content and marketing teams to align videos with brand and messaging
Optimize videos for social media performance and engagement
✅ Mandatory Requirements
✔️ Minimum 2+ years of professional video editing experience
✔️ Strong expertise in Adobe After Effects (compulsory)
✔️ Strong expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro (compulsory)
✔️ Experience in social media video editing (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, etc.)
✔️ Basic skills in graphic design for thumbnails and creatives

Understanding of trending video formats and social media algorithms
Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Canva for quick designs
Ability to work on fast-paced content production cycles
