India Nippon Electricals Limited is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Buyer for our Automotive Procurement/Purchasing department. The successful candidate will play a vital role in sourcing products and materials needed for our automotive components. This includes negotiating prices, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that procurement practices align with company goals and sustainability initiatives. The Buyer will collaborate closely with internal teams to understand project requirements and will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels while reducing costs and improving supplier performance.

Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.




3–6 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the automotive industry.
Experience with automotive OEM, Tier-1, Tier-2
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Purchase Price Variance (PPV)
Annual cost savings achieved
Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD)
Material availability to production
Inventory turns
Supplier quality performance (PPM)
Working capital improvement
Purchase order cycle time
Preferred Automotive Experience
Sheet metal, castings, forgings, plastics, rubber, electronics, wiring harnesses, bearings, fasteners etc
Exposure to localization, global sourcing, and supplier development programs
