Job Responsibility
Conduct quality testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products as per SOPs
Operate, calibrate, and maintain QC instruments; ensure calibration logs are updated
Document and review test results, maintaining accurate QC records
Coordinate with production teams to address quality deviations and implement corrective actions
Assist in developing and refining QC procedures for efficiency and compliance
Monitor environmental conditions in the lab to ensure test accuracy
Support in preparing COAs (Certificates of Analysis) for finished goods
Participate in internal audits and ensure readiness for external inspections
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals
Provide feedback to R&D; on product performance and quality trends
Skills Required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with QC instruments and testing methods in the paint/coatings industry
Good communication and documentation skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Experience Required
1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably Industrial Paint division, with chemical/chemistry background
Qualification Required
Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemicals, Chemistry, Paint Technology, or a related field.
Ideal Candidate
An experienced quality control qualified with a solid background in
chemical or paint/coatings testing, capable of independently handling
routine QC operations, interpreting results, and collaborating with
production and R&D; teams to maintain consistent quality standards.
