As a Lead Substation Physical Design Engineer, you will be involved in:

* Perform conceptual and detailed HV and MV Substation Physical/Electrical
design for medium to large scale utilities/substations (including basic
layout, electrical arrangement, one line, three-line drawings, plan-section,
grounding, AC and DC system drawings)
* Perform advanced engineering studies and calculations
* Perform Quality Control reviews on medium to large substation physical design
projects
* Create and review bill of materials for substation physical projects
* Develop and review proposals, and scopes of work for substation physical
projects




* Develop and provide advanced technical presentations to the team to assist
with staff technical development
* Be involved in client interaction (including site visits) with a drive for
customer satisfaction
* Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
* Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with the
internal teams and clients to meet project objectives

What Sets You Apart (Background Requirements):

* 4+ years of prior relevant experience.
* Bachelor of Science Engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or
Industrial). Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a
degree.
* Leadership experience in executing substation projects
* Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with the internal team
and clients to meet project needs.
