About the Role
As the Senior Manager/DGM of ESG & Compliance at, you will be the strategic anchor and
operational leader overseeing all sustainability, buyer compliance, and ESG frameworks. You will
bridge the gap between global brand expectations and factory-floor realities. This role demands a
seasoned veteran who can independently manage rigorous international certifications, drive carbon
footprint and social metrics via the HIGG Index, and maintain zero-tolerance standards across
environmental, health, safety, and worker welfare domains.
Key Responsibilities
1. Buyer & Social Compliance Management
• Act as the primary face of for international buyers, retail brands, and external audit




bodies regarding social and environmental accountability.
• Ensure factory units are continuously "audit-ready" for major global retailer compliance
codes (e.g., Sedex/SMETA, BSCI, WRAP, or specific brand protocols).
• Lead root-cause analysis for any compliance gaps and implement robust Corrective Action
Plans (CAP) to prevent recurrence.
2. Materials, Chain of Custody & Traceability Certifications
• Own the end-to-end implementation, documentation, and renewal of global textile and
sustainability standards:
o Organic & Recycled: GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), OCS (Organic Content
Standard), RCS (Recycled Claim Standard).
o Responsible Sourcing: RWS (Responsible Wool Standard), FSC (Forest Stewardship
Council), BCI (Better Cotton Initiative).
o Ethical Trading: Fairtrade certifications.
• Maintain absolute transparency and traceability in the supply chain to validate green claims
made to international buyers.
