We're hiring a Director of Research at Zerocircle.

We started with seaweed. And then we kept going. Today we work across natural polymers, polysaccharides, gums, proteins, starches, cellulosics and beyond. Not as a single chemistry. As a platform. Building packaging that has no hidden plastics, no toxic coatings. We've commercialised. We have customers. And the science is just getting started.
Next year, we move to Mumbai. What we're building there is long overdue for natural polymer science.
The person who takes this role doesn't just move into it. They design it. They set it up. They decide what it stands for.

What we're looking for:
A chemist. 10-12 years post-PhD.
Someone with deep experience in natural and native polymers across the full spectrum, polysaccharides, gums, proteins, starches, cellulosics.
Comfortable in both academia and industry. Has worked in both.
Has taken products to market.
Can lead a young, curious, quick-moving scientific team.
The role is based in Pune now. Mumbai next year.
