Role Purpose
The role of an Manager- Portfolio Counsellor is that of a Wealth / Investment Product Expert (PE) who provides financial analysis and investment recommendations primarily to customers with Funds under Management (FUM) > INR 10M.




This is a Virtual IC role, partnering closely with Overseas Indian VRMs and the PFC Team to deepen client relationships, improve investment outcomes, and drive sustainable AUM and net sales growth.
Principal Responsibilities
Strengthen HSBC’s image as a leading wealth provider by providing clients with access to advanced technical product expertise and high-quality investment advice delivered virtually.
Support Overseas Indian VRMs and the PFC Team to build clients’ confidence and trust in HSBC capabilities and increase the effectiveness and quality of needs fulfilled for target clients.
Deepen and grow client relationships by identifying and uncovering client needs, recommending relevant wealth solutions, and providing technical analysis to support client conversations and closures.
Join VRMs/PFC in virtual client meetings and provide advice and input based on technical knowledge, acting
