Job Title: Engineer Product Engineering (Mechanical)

Location: Bangalore, India

Experience: 3 5 Years

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute engineering projects across Recent Product Development (NPD), New Product Transfer (NTP), Quality & Reliability (Q&R;), Productivity, and Return-to-Standard (RTS) initiatives.
Understand project requirements and collaborate with project owners, global engineering teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
Ensure successful delivery of projects by meeting quality, delivery, project cost, and product cost targets.
Drive concept development, component selection, system integration, and engineering design calculations.
Develop and validate structural components and assemblies, including both metal and non-metal parts.
Prepare component specifications, Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), validation plans, and test plans.
Participate in concept reviews, critical design reviews,



and technical discussions with global teams to resolve engineering challenges.
Perform thermal analysis and simulations to predict and optimize HVAC component performance.
Create, update, and release engineering documentation including CAD models, drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and specifications using PLM/PDM systems such as Creo, Windchill, or Teamcenter.
Coordinate engineering change implementation and support design modifications throughout the product lifecycle.
Support prototype builds, engineering validation, testing activities, and sustaining engineering initiatives.
Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining adherence to organizational processes and project management principles.
