Weaver is looking for talented Tax professionals at the Senior Associate level to join our Fixed Asset Advisory practice This is a growing practice with room for growth and career development. The successful candidate will help our clients with:

* Cost segregation
* Tangible Property (Repair) Regulations
* Fixed asset reviews
* 179D and 45L green construction deductions and credits
* R&D; credit studies

Duties & Responsibilities

* Prepare cost segregation, fixed assets reviews and tax valuation for new and acquired buildings, industrial projects, renovations, and expansions.
* Assist in developing benefit estimates, interacting with clients and scheduling associated project deliverables.
* Prepare R&D; and Rehab tax credit studies.




* Assist team in preparing presentations for proposals, drafting SOWs, planning strategies, and ideas.
* Respond to client requests and correspond with clients to meet engagement goals and deliverables.
* Demonstrate ability to understand the IRs code, regulations, and pronouncements for various tax issues; training provided.
* Prepare schedules and deliverables for management review.

Education and Skills

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or construction technology
* 2-5 years of public accounting experience, industry experience, or a combination of both
* 1 year of experience in cost segregation
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
* Proficient with Excel and Bluebeam or a similar software
* Experience estimating with RS Means and CoreLogic MVS
* Experience with Sage, Bloomberg/BNA
