Job DetailsJob Location: SERVPRO of Roanoke - Salem, VA 24153-4603Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: DaySummary: The Restoration Technician performs restoration processes to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects and maintains the skilled appearance of SERVPRO equipment as well as an assigned service vehicle. By providing quality, consistent, productive work, the restoration technician represents the best in the cleanup and restoration industry. Primary Responsibilities: Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance. Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project. Perform restoration processes as directed. Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times. Communicate with the supervisor and other technicians to maintain efficient restoration processes. Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown.



Leave the site with a clean and orderly appearance. Maintain an organized warehouse space. Clean and maintain the warehouse, office, and grounds, as assigned. Develop restoration expertise in services, cleaning products, and equipment. May require some out-of-area and/or overnight travel work or work outside of normal working hours. Other tasks/duties as required by the employer. QualificationsEducation and Experience Requirements: High school diploma/GED preferred IICRC certifications preferred Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferred Strong work ethic Strong oral communication skills Schedule: Monday-Friday (8-hour shift) On-call Overtime License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Physical and Work Environment Requirements: Regularly lifting 25 pounds independently, occasionally lifting upto 100 pounds with assistance, walking and standing for long periods, driving, sitting, climbing
