What you’ll do
We are looking to hire a Senior Associate Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team that supports and tests SAS languages and procedures that provide computational services as part of the server tier of the SAS architecture. This role focuses on testing and validating production code base primarily written in C that enables customers to access, explore, prepare, analyze, and share data. This role provides opportunities to grow technical depth and testing knowledge through mentorship, code reviews, and collaboration with experienced engineers. With customers across the globe,

As a Senior Associate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), we are looking for someone who:
- Creates and maintains high quality of test automation using modern development techniques and provides key data points to support metrics-based decision making.
- Applies automated tests at every layer of the application stack, both inside and outside of the continuous delivery pipeline.
- Produces and analyzes metrics that illustrate the quality of applications and develop insight that contribute to quality engineering decisions.
- Works with team to promptly triage test failures with precision and accuracy, maintaining the health of the build pipeline.
- Works collaboratively with development, product, operations, and support peers to encourage quality, as a key design element in all work efforts.
- Engages in code reviews for product, test, and infras
