Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary English Teacher to join our IGCSE team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring and educating students in English language and literature, fostering a love for reading, writing, and critical analysis.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
Teach English language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing, to secondary school students.
Introduce students to a variety of literary genres, authors, and texts,
and facilitate discussions to deepen understanding and critical thinking.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
Assess student progress regularly through assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
Encourage student participation and active engagement in class activities and discussions.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary activities and projects that integrate English language arts with other subjects.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
Participate in career development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in education.
