Senior Project Manager - Databricks Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in managing data-driven projects and a strong expertise in Databricks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, delivering projects on time and within budget, and leveraging Databricks to drive data analytics and insights. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels and ensure the successful execution of complex projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for data analytics projects utilizing Databricks.
Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
Facilitate regular project meetings,



providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues that arise.
Utilize Databricks to optimize data processing and analytics workflows, ensuring high-quality data outputs.
Implement best practices in project management and data governance to enhance project outcomes.
Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members in project management methodologies and Databricks usage.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Databricks, including experience with Spark, Delta Lake, and data pipelines.
Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects in a rapid-paced environment.
