Job Description: Guidewire Policy Center Rating Developer
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC) Rating & Configuration Developer with robust technical expertise and leadership capabilities. The candidate will act as a Technical Manager , driving development, supporting team members in resolving technical challenges, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating and Configuration solutions
Lead and mentor a team of developers; act as the technical escalation point for complex issues
Provide hands-on support for coding, debugging, and optimization
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs
Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices, coding standards, and design patterns
Perform code reviews , design validations, and quality checks
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to solution design
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA, BA, and DevOps
Support integration touchpoints (if applicable) and ensure seamless system interactions
Mandatory Skills
Strong experience in:
Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC)
Guidewire Rating module
Guidewire Configuration (Gosu, PCF, Data Model, Rules)
Proven experience in end-to-end Guidewire development and implementation
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Experience in handling and guiding a technical team
Good To Have Skills
Knowledge of:
Guidewire Integration (GW Integration)
ClaimCenter (CC)
BillingCenter (BC)
Exposure to web services (REST/SOAP) and integration patterns
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Experience
Typically 8-12+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in Guidewire
Prior experience in a Technical Lead / Tech Manager role preferred
