THE ROLE
AMD is seeking a highly capable Staff System Administrator to join the IT Onsite Services Support (OSS) team. This role is responsible for leading onsite IT operations while delivering high-quality end-user support across laptops, desktops, operating systems, business applications, collaboration tools and AI adoption




The position requires a strong blend of people leadership, hands-on technical expertise, AI and operational ownership, including conference room/AV support and extended coordination with network and infrastructure teams. The individual will also drive key IT initiatives and projects aligned with organizational goals.
THE PERSON
The ideal candidate is a proactive and results-driven professional with strong troubleshooting capabilities and multi-platform expertise including AI. They should demonstrate the ability to balance team leadership with hands-on support, while maintaining a strong customer focus and driving continuous service improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver onsite IT support services, ensuring seamless day-to-day end-user operations
Provide technical support for laptops, desktops, OS, and enterprise applications
Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and devices
