Role & responsibilities
- Track and update project schedules (Gantt/milestones), flagging slippages to the Project Manager
- Coordinate submission of design deliverables (SLD, layout, structural, cabling/DC-AC schedules, civil GA drawings) to client and follow up for review comments and approvals
- Liaise directly with client's design/technical team to resolve queries, incorporate review comments, and close out approval cycles within schedule
- Coordinate CEIG inspection/approval process, net-metering application and liaison with DISCOM, and other statutory approvals required for grid connectivity and plant commissioning
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors on manpower deployment, material delivery, and work-front readiness
- Maintain and circulate MOMs, progress reports, and daily/weekly status updates to internal and client stakeholders
- Assist in preparing and tracking contractual correspondence payment requests, notices, LD tracking, variation/claim documentation
- Support document control: drawings, BOQs, POs, subcontract agreements, test certificates, HOTO documents
- Coordinate site-level compliance (safety, quality checkpoints) with site engineers and QA/QC team
- Support billing cycles by compiling progress data, measurement sheets, and supporting documents
- Maintain project trackers (cashflow, procurement status, manpower logs, RA bills, drawing/approval status l
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical preferred); MBA in Projects is a plus
- 2 to 5 years' experience in EPC project coordination, preferably solar/renewable energy or infrastructure, with prior exposure to MWp-scale ground-mounted solar projects
- Working knowledge of solar plant design basics (SLD, layout, stringing/DC-AC ratio, PVsyst outputs) sufficient to coordinate and follow up on client approvals hands-on design work not mandatory but familiarity expected
- Knowledge of CEIG approval process, net-metering procedures, and DISCOM/state nodal agency liaison requirements
- Exposure to OPEX (developer-owned, EPC-executed) project models in addition to standard EPC/turnkey contracts
- Demonstrated experience directly interfacing with client design/technical teams to drive drawing and document approvals
- Robust working knowledge of MS Excel (trackers, schedules), MS Word, and basic MS Project/Primavera exposure; AutoCAD familiarity (to read/mark up drawings) preferred
- Understanding of EPC contract structures BOQ, LOI/LOA, variation orders, LD clauses — is an advantage
- Good written and verbal communication skills for client/vendor correspondence and approval discussions
- Ability to multitask across concurrent MWp-scale projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, procurement, execution, QA/QC, finance)
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
