Responsibilities in Brief

We are looking for an Energetic and Entrepreneurial Senior Business Analysts, with high level of proficiency and experience in E-Commerce software development to drive business requirements with the proactive approach, work closely with clients, subject matter experts, analyze industry relevant metrics and validate with Hexalytics business experts, and recommend industry standard metrics and analytics to clients. As a Senior Business Analyst, the responsibilities also include closely working with the development team to ensure the right product development while also leading the testing effort with the QA team to ensure the quality of delivery.

Responsibilities

- Conduct industry analysis, understand user roles and profiles, articulate analysis and details specific to each role, and recommend industry standard metrics, KPIs and analysis.
- Identify, assess, and document business requirements, with a clear articulation of what business questions can be answered and what decisions can be taken with the business insights being documented as requirements.
- Document business and data requirements specific to software development projects.
- Recommend priorities and business-oriented solutions to business partners along with risks and rewards of various approaches.
- Thoroughly analyze and understand the data to identify relevant metrics and its formulation that will be applicable towards product development.
- Accountable for the delivery of business requirements documentation, including use cases, user stories etc. and update them regularly to keep them current.
- Work closely with Application Designers and Developers to ensure understanding of requirements that will be used for creating application architecture and design specifications.




- Test the application/solution and also assist QA team to ensure that requirements documentation can be easily translated into test plans.
- Create and manage traceability matrix and ensure that the proper testing plans have been completed and can be mapped back to requirements
- Participate in test results meetings and execute traceability activities to determine cause of bugs, system errors, and failures during testing.
- Be a champion of the product within the organization and user community

Skills & Abilities

- 8 - 15 years of relevant Business Analyst experience with exposure to analytics projects.
- Strong experience in E-Commerce domain.
- Ability to quickly ramp up in a new industry/domain and be able develop solutions focused for the new area.
- Hands-on experience in creating BRDs / Stories and explaining them to Developers, QA, UI/UX
teams.
- Ability to closely work with the Development and Testing team to ensure the quality in the delivery of the product.
- Experienced in functionally mapping requirements with product features, maintaining product
backlog, allocating backlog features to Sprint releases.
- Experienced in participating in customer calls, meeting customers to discuss product
requirements and solution.
- Strong SQL capabilities with experience to query and analyze large data sets.
- Ability to work with tools like Tableau and PowerBI is appreciated.
- Thorough understanding of agile development process, creation of Sprints.
- Possess hands-on experience in tools such as Jira/Zoho Sprints, work with QA and Development teams to move the status of Stories/Tasks through various stages of development life cycle.
- Possess robust analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong quantitative, business, and modeling skills.
- Able to simultaneously manage multiple projects, effectively prioritize workload, and own deliverables from start to finish.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to write concise and accurate technical documentation
