The role will lead the social media and content strategy for a leading and iconic Indian tractor brand, and will be responsible for creating, executing, and managing all organic and creative content initiatives across digital platforms. It will also be responsible for crafting compelling brand narratives, fostering community engagement, and analysing content performance to derive insights for improved reach, engagement, and brand affinity. The goal is to strengthen the brands voice, build a loyal digital community, and support business growth through impactful storytelling and creative excellence.

Role & responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Execution

- Develop and oversee the brands social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, etc.)
- Plan and execute content calendars aligned with product launches, campaigns, and seasonal priorities
- Monitor trends, platform updates, and audience behavior to inform strategy and content formats

Creative Direction & Content Production

- Lead ideation and production of high-quality visual and written content (videos, reels, carousels, infographics, etc.)
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, photographers, and videographers to ensure timely and brand-aligned output
- Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and visual identity across all creative assets

Community Management

- Oversee engagement and response strategy across social platforms
- Monitor brand sentiment and escalate feedback or issues to relevant teams
- Build and nurture online communities through interactive content and conversations

Campaign Integration

- Work closely with the performance marketing team to align creative assets with paid campaigns
- Support influencer and partnership campaigns with creative briefs and content coordination
- Ensure organic and paid content are harmonized for maximum impact





Analytics & Optimization

- Track and analyze engagement metrics, reach, sentiment, and content performance
- Generate insights to optimize future content and improve audience engagement
- Conduct A/B testing on creatives and formats to refine strategy

Agency & Vendor Management

- Manage relationships with creative agencies, freelancers, and production houses
- Review and approve creative deliverables and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets

Innovation & Experimentation

- Explore new formats, platforms (e.g., Threads, Pinterest, Snapchat), and storytelling techniques
- Pilot interactive and immersive content experiences (e.g., AR filters, live sessions, polls)

Internal Collaboration

- Interface with product, brand, and business teams to understand messaging priorities
- Support internal campaigns and communications with creative inputs

Preferred candidate profile

- Previous experience in leading social media and creative content teams, with a strong portfolio of brand-building campaigns across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter)
- Hands-on experience in content creation and publishing tools, including Meta Business Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and scheduling platforms like Hootsuite.
- Solid understanding of audience behavior, platform algorithms, and engagement metrics to inform content strategy and optimization
- Proven track record of driving organic growth, engagement, and brand affinity through innovative storytelling and community-building initiatives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and collaborate across teams
- Creative mindset with critical thinking and project management skills, capable of balancing brand consistency with experimentation
- Experience managing high-volume content calendars and coordinating with multiple stakeholders and agencies
