Job Role

Responsible for ensuring reliable operation and maintenance of Instrumentation &Control; systems for BTG, AHP, CHP, and auxiliary systems. The role includes shift handling, DCS/PLC management, preventive maintenance, shutdown activities, spares management, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement to enhance plant reliability and availability.

Role & responsibilities

- Ensure high system availability and reliable operation of C&I; equipment.
- Handle BTG shifts and support uninterrupted plant operation.
- Manage vendors, AMC activities, and critical spares.
- Execute shutdown and overhaul activities.
- Maintain and troubleshoot DCS and PLC systems.
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance & Ensure proper documentation, statutory compliance, and reporting.




- Support reliability improvement and root cause analysis activities
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and plant procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E / B.Tech Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication graduates with 6-9 years of relevant experience in Thermal Power Plant and Hands-on exposure in BTG,AH & CHP systems & Experience in Operation & Maintenance (O&M;) setting.
