Role & responsibilities

Execution ownership:

- Run the transaction queue. Own the master schedule across all active mandates milestones, deadlines, dependencies, and capacity and report status to United States partners on a fixed weekly cadence.
- Convert mandates into launch plans. Translate each signed engagement into a work plan with named owners, deliverable dates, and service-level standards within five business days of signing.
- Protect quality. Enforce second-person review on every suitor universe, financial schedule, teaser, information memorandum, and outbound campaign before it reaches a partner or leaves the firm.
- Escalate early. Identify slippage, data inconsistencies, and process risk before a partner discovers them. Bring the issue, the root cause, and a recommendation together

Team leadership:

- Lead the junior team. Day-to-day management of the analysts and associates assignment, workload balance, utilisation, coaching, performance standards, and career development.
- Hire and train. Partner with the local country head on recruitment, practical assessments, onboarding, and technical training. Build the bench before capacity becomes the constraint.
- Raise technical standards. Teach financial statement analysis, adjusted EBITDA construction, suitor screening logic, and written communication to a standard our partners can put in front of shareholders and acquirers without rework.

Systems, data, and process:

- Own the CRM as the single source of truth. Pipeline hygiene, task routing, permissions, dashboards, and reporting accuracy.
- Build the process library. Standard operating procedures, checklists, and templates covering the full transaction lifecycle, written so a new hire can execute without relying on tribal knowledge.
- Apply automation and AI with judgement. Identify where technology removes manual effort and where human review remains mandatory. We do not automate a process before it is understood,

simplified, and owned.
- Measure what matters. Cycle times, on-time delivery, contact accuracy, response and conversion rates, revision counts, error rates. Report them honestly, including when they are unfavorable.

Preferred candidate profile

Required:

- Three to five years of experience in M&A; or transaction advisory investment banking, corporate finance, deals advisory, or a comparable transaction-execution environment.
- A minimum of two to three transactions personally taken through the full lifecycle mandate preparation, financial analysis, acquirer identification and outreach, information memorandum production, management meetings, indications of interest, letters of intent, due diligence, and closing. You will be asked to name them and walk us through your role in each.
- Technology or IT-sector transaction experience is required for example IT services, staffing and resourcing, software, managed services, or technology-enabled business services. A significant share of our mandates sit in this sector and you will be expected to read the commercial model without being taught it.
- Fluent, executive-standard written and spoken English. Your written work will be read by United States shareholders, acquirers, attorneys, and lenders.
- Experience managing or coordinating analysts, including workload allocation and quality review. Formal line-management experience is preferred but a strong record of leading workstreams will be considered.
- Advanced financial statement literacy:

ability to reconcile management accounts to statutory financials, build an adjusted EBITDA bridge, and identify what does not tie. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint. Working command of a modern CRM.
- Willingness to work an operating window aligned to United States Eastern Time and to travel internationally on a recurring basis.

Preferred:

- CA, CFA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent.
- Experience serving United States or United Kingdom clients from an offshore or global capability centre.
- Background in the lower middle market, where transactions are won on process discipline rather than brand.
- Exposure to staffing, energy, transportation, or industrials alongside the required technology-sector experience.
- Experience implementing CRM, workflow automation, or process improvement in a professional services environment

Attributes we screen for

- Ownership. You close the loop without being chased.
- Verification instinct. You check the number against the source before it goes into a document. Materials that do not reconcile destroy credibility with acquirers, and we treat that as a firm-level risk.
- Candour. You raise the uncomfortable issue early, in writing, with a recommendation attached.
- Judgement under confidentiality. You understand what may be disclosed, to whom, and at what stage of a process.
- Standards. You would not release a document you would be embarrassed to see forwarded

This Role Is Not a Fit If

- You are looking for a purely analytical seat with no management responsibility.
- You have supported transactions only in a narrow, single-stage capacity and have not seen a process end to end.
- You are not prepared to work an operating window aligned to United States business hours.
- You prefer defined instructions to defined outcomes. This role is measured on results, not activity.
