As a Early Career Academic/Lecturer, you will be expected to bring academic rigor, a student first mindset, and a bold, future ready approach to teaching and learning excellence at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Key responsibilities and duties

- Teaching
- Lead and teach modules related to Computer Science at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

- Professional engagement and knowledge exchange

- Work closely with academic organisations in knowledge exchange.
- Build relationships with external professional and industry organisations.

- Administration

- Participate in and contribute to the running of activities in the department by undertaking administrative duties as agreed with the Associate Dean.




- To attend relevant academic or management committees.
- Undertake other duties commensurate with the grade as required.

- Other skills

- Ability to work co-operatively and effectively with colleagues and show enthusiasm for contributing in general to the department and with colleagues based at the home campus.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.

- In addition to the above, all University of Liverpool, India Bengaluru staff are required to:

Essential Qualifications and Attributes

- PhD in a relevant subject.
- Ability and enthusiasm to teach Computer Science, while enhancing the student experience.
